Americans Only : Parisian experience in style with Justina and Clément Le Coz

Why do the Parisians talk about the right and left bank? Why is Hermès so popular? Why does France weigh that much on the luxury craftsmanship market? Why is onion soup such an iconic dish in Paris? Why do we talk about the Parisian effortless chic? Why do the Parisian cafés oriented their terrace towards the street? Why is fashion so powerful in Paris? Where did Coco Chanel live?

These are some of the questions we received from the people we met during these past few months. The conversations we have with our clients feed our thirst for new experiences and help us to constantly improve our creativity to meet future clients’ expectations. Today I will introduce you to our working scheme in order to build unique, detail oriented and surprising experiences in Paris about French craftsmanship, fashion, interior design, art de la table and French lifestyle. But before starting, I want to remind you that the most important factor that allows us to be successful in our agency is passion. We enjoy reading, watching and listening about what we call the Principles of Parisian aesthetics. Communicating with passion is the only way to entertain our clients and to convince our local partners.

THE ART OF CREATION: DESIGNING A JOURNEY

When we build an itinerary, we always listen to the client first. Did the client ever visit Paris before? Does the client want to discover new designers, craftsmen, artists for any purpose in particular? Is the experience oriented towards purchase or discovery? Is it a surprise for one of the people from the group? Based on the client’s answers, we shed light on a first activity that will define the neighborhood we will focus on. Indeed, to optimize the time we spend with clients, we tend to prioritize only one or two districts. As we experience the immersion into an atelier of a ceramist – meeting with the Uruguayan artist Katharina Kaminski based in Paris -, a bronze century-old atelier on the edge of the city – meeting with Nicolas Beaufort, owner of atelier Charles, one of the most exclusive lamp constructor in the world – and a cabinet de curiosités or the shopping at a luxury house, we have a lot of stories to tell about the characters we will meet and the streets we will walk through. We have been organizing itineraries and event runnings for more than 10 years. And if ever there is a last minute request from the client on our itinerary, we have a battery of options ready to be used. Paris is our city and these itineraries are part of our personal daily quests.

THE CURATORIAL JOURNEY

To find out about the best local stores, workshops, ateliers, libraries, cabinets de curiosités, we walk the city everyday. We discover, we connect, we collaborate. Local actors are our collaborators. We choose them because we enjoy their craftsmanship, their brand DNA, their story, their work. They inspire our next experience. Thanks to our collaborators, we can invent new experiences – a private makeup session at Chanel, a meeting with a fashion designer, the discovery of a ceramist’s atelier, the creation of personalized hand made fans – and surprise our clients. We aim at producing emotions, an expectation that has to be met by both the content and the humans behind the content. Indeed, I often say to our clients: “you can offer the best content in the world but if the human part is not adequate, then the whole experience is not worth it”. This is why we curate both the content and the attitude towards the client. We personally know all of our trustworthy partners that we have selected based on their trajectory and quality work. Recently, Justina and I even did a fashion collaboration with three brands that we love and recommend to our clients: BOURRIENNE – shirts – , CAREL – women’s shoes – and SOLOVIERE – men’s shoes.

SOURCING ELEGANCE

An experience agency plays a dual role in its daily quests: finding the perfect gems to surprise clients and working hand in hand with collaborators to meet the clients’ highest standards. Justina and I have enjoyed luxury services since we were children. And with this same taste for luxury hospitality as a customer, we take our time to think of the best service possible for our clients. To succeed in this quest, we exchange ideas with the brands, the craftsmen, the artists, the designers, the luxury houses, the ateliers to create a memorable experience where every detail has been studied.

Our fashion and design experience agency curates and creates the best urban trips as possible. Thanks to our sense of creativity and our unique relationship with local actors, we offer experiences that no other agency provides. Our strength and added value on the market is our capacity to invent and collaborate with any brand that we decide to promote. Of course, we work with the big names of the luxury fashion industry – HERMES, GOYARD, CHANEL, DIOR – and the famous actors of the interior design industry – GILLES ET BOISSIER, LAURA GONZALEZ, JOSEPH DIRAND, JACQUES GARCIA, VINCENT DARRE – but we also work with local craftsmen, young designers and artists that are fully involved into the Parisian aesthetics scene. Paris is always a special trip. We are lucky enough to have inherited from a city designed by visionaries such as Henry the 4th, Louis the 14th, Napoleon the 3rd or baron Haussmann and where the elite of design such as Jules-Hardouin Mansard, Charles Le Brun, Louis Vuitton, Paul Poiret, Yves Saint Laurent, Coco Chanel, Christian Dior or Le Corbusier have evolved. We will be pleased to show you our curation of Paris.
